Halloween

We all have enjoyed carving pumpkins this week.

Tonight, we are off to a Halloween Party at our friends, the Lussier's. I made these Frankenstein bags for all the kids. Thanks to my friend, Tammy Hellstern, for this idea last year!

We missed the Ankarlo Halloween Party last Saturday, so this sure be a great time. Tomorrow night it's Trick or Treating and then adult costume party time!

Sunday is the 12x12 Calendar Workshop. Hope to see you there!

Family

Welcome! It's been a busy week around here, as usual. Tanner came down with coughing and 100.8 fever on Thursday after school and Kaia had the same thing on Friday morning. Lots of tears from her about missing Phy. Ed. that day. Tanner loves his teacher, but didn't seem too heartbroken to have to stay home! Keith stayed home with the kids and wasn't feeling too well himself either. Today he and Kaia have been working on the basement bathroom.

The entire sewer backup really wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. It's really just another instance where scrapbooking can be a lifesaver, really! I was downstairs scrapbooking when the sewer started to backup and Keith stopped it before any of our personal possessions were damaged- AKA all of the precious scrapbooking materials! Now he's off to "save big money" and buy the rest of the needed materials for our basement remodel.

Hope you enjoy the weekend!

Welcome to My Blog

I'm taking the challenge that I set up for my own team- to create a blog! As I am not a digital native, this is something quite new and outside my comfort zone. It's also exciting to be trying something that I'm not really great at (yet).

This morning I taught Sunday School. This afternoon, I've been creating a stamping present for my Secret Sister, creating this blog, cleaning up my scrapbooking and stamping room, and watching the Vikings cream the Rams! Now, we are going to make apple pie mixes to freeze, along with canning some pepper jelly- pray for us:)

I'm hoping this blog will be a way to connect with friends, family and others who enjoy scrapbooking and stamping. I hope to post pictures of artwork in my Close To My Heart business and personal pictures as well.

Enjoy your week!
Sheri
